Urgent Reminders

Two urgent reminders for tomorrow- 


1- Blue September day tomorrow. Children are encouraged to wear blue clothing and donate a gold coin which will be give to cancer research.


2- Some children have taken a touch rugby form home. if your child is going to participate in this the for MUST be RETURNED TOMORROW!

Smart Board

We are SO lucky. Mrs Beaustead was granted a donation from the Rotary Club as a kind gesture for Team 4. We bought 2 portable interactive whiteboards. They are fully touch screen and have an endless supply of excellent learning opportunities!

Here a are a couple of photos of us having a go on it. We all had a go as a class and then in 10min slots with a friend.

first we had a go at popping balloons and drawing on it. Then we had a go at making words, ordering numbers, reading words, practising hand writing and circling the world map.

We were able to fly around the Earth using Google Earth too. We found out where Samoa is in relation to New Zealand and Australia.

We will share the interactive board with Room 15- 1 week each turn about.

Folk Dancing

We have been learning some folk dances. Jibidi and the Jiffy Mixer. We practised the Jiffy Mixer with Team 3.

Some of us were chosen to be leaders.

All pages have been updated with term 3 learning goals and focusses :)

Tuesday Sport

We are lucky enough to have MR. L. coach us for ball skills each Tuesday for the next 3 weeks. Because of this could children please wear suitable clothing and footwear for running about in.
