Super 16: Kete Tatahi- beach Baskets

We made some Maori Kete to display beach pictures. We tried hard to include things you see, find, wear and like to do at the tatahi- beach.

Maths

We are doing a blitz on doubles this term. Firstly instantly recalling doubles to 10 and then we will stretch ourselves to 20!

We have been doing a lot of talk about tens and ones in the past two weeks. This liks well to our skip countng in 10's.

Another maths focus has included solving the missing number. E.g. 6 + _ = 10 or 13 + _ = 18 etc...

Remember to keep up skip counting in 2's and 5's (forwards and backwards) plus number bonds to 5 and then 10! The children are showing a lot of confidence in these areas in class!
